I Don't Know About This?
A time that I was given a responsibility that I did
not think I could handle was my first day working at Five Below in Avon. When I
arrived there, the manager showed me the basic things that I had to do. Like
fold t-shirts, take out the garbage, sweep the floors, and stock items on the
shelves. Then I had to learn how to work the cash register. So he had another
worker train me on the register and it only took about 30 minutes to learn how
to do everything. However, I was still a little unsure how to exchanges and coupons
that customers would bring in. The manager then said that I was to work the
register until we closed knowing that I had just learned. Many customers came
in that night too, so I was ringing up people left and right. I had some
trouble along the way but I asked for help to fix the problems. The job is also
very stressful, because I have to make sure that there is the right amount of
money in the register according to the receipts. But at the end of the day when
we closed, the manager said I did a good job on my first day. Then he had me
sweep the entire store! -_-
