Well to start off, I never really liked my name. I always thought it sounded more like a girl's name instead. When I was younger, some kids also thought the same thing and use to make fun of me for it. My name is like glue and after being stuck with it for fifteen years, I eventually got use to it. But as I got older, I began to realize that my name was different and unique. When my mom was naming me, she wanted a name from the bible. Instead of my name being spelled Elijah like in the Bible, my Mom changed the spelling to Alijah to make it different and unique. My name's origin is actually a Hebrew name which translates to "the lord is my god". There was also a Hebrew prophet who lived during the ninth century B.C. whose name was Elijah. So now that I know this, I don't care what people have to say or think about my name, because I know that my name is unique and different.
I liked how you explained how your name was unique in its own way
